Brad Alphonso is NOW engaged to Miss Katie Waissel! The two posted photos on  Facebook and Twitter over the weekend... Check out their wedding band, heart tattoos!

We knew these two had a passionate relationship when we saw them at the IPOP convention! We're happy for them both and will keep you updated on this glam couple's wedding day plans. Is he bringing her home to NOLA? Stay tuned.... this New Orleans native,  likes to keep us in the loop! ; )

International model and JRP NOLA alum, Brad Alphonso is no longer a single  fish in the sea... In fact, he found love across the pond. He's currently dating UK singer, Katie Waissel.  Perhaps, you recognize her from  Simon Cowell's music competition television series, the  X Factor. They currently live in Los Angeles together where she sings with her band, Red Velvet Lovers and Brad is pursuing acting.
The couple attended the IPOP convention ( International Presentation of Performers) this week,  where Brad presented awards to the talented winners!
He's also representing JRP New Orleans, as a successful alum and we can't wait to get the competition results from our very own, JRP NOLA team!

Last time we reported on all the Louisiana- shot films showing at the 65th annual Cannes film festival... and we’re proud to announce director, Benh Zeitlin’s, “Beasts of the Southern Wild” starring young Houma native, Quvenzhane Wallis won the Camera d’Or award!
This award followed the film’s Grand Jury Prize and Excellence in Cinematography awarded at Sundance 2012 and was preceded by the  audience award for best narrative feature at the Los Angeles Film Festival last week!
