Louisiana College is a week and a half away from announcing the purchase of a facility for a film school, LC President Joe Aguillard said Tuesday.
The Baptist College in Pineville has also received from an anonymous foundation a commitment of $60 million over 10 years for its divinity school, and has been "adopted" by a Chicago billionaire in the school's efforts to train teachers in Africa, Aguillard told Alexandria Rotarians at the organization's weekly luncheon.
"I just signed a confidentiality agreement" to purchase a place for LC's film school, said Aguillard, who did not reveal the location.
